The Mesa Summerlin is a 500 acre residential village, which is situated against the Spring Mountains on elevated topography, The Mesa is Summerlin's southernmost village to date and one of its most unique.

The home designs in The Mesa Summerlin feature a desert contemporary architectural style. The Howard Hughes Corporation commenced development on The Mesa village in 2004.

The village is already home to the 35-acre Bishop Gorman High School, a Catholic college preparatory school that opened for the 2007-2008 school year

Mesa Park is a 19 acre village park with three Little League baseball fields (one with a concession stand), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot area and picnic armadas.
